Hi neighbours. Police are investigating a spate of mail thefts in the Dairy Flat and Coatesville-Riverhead areas. Residents have reported streets of mail boxes being found open in the mornings, missing mail and letters strewn across neighbourhoods in the last month.
Others reported finding stacks of opened mail addressed to different people in their mail boxes. Some were planning to booby trap their mail boxes with dog faeces or glitter in hopes of catching the culprits, but police advised against this, saying the investigation should be left to them.
