Whether you are in the midst of a crisis, or at the stage that either you or your spouse need to enter permanent care, it can be a very daunting task. Acacia Cove offers independent living while having nurses either onsite or on call 24/7.

The Directors of Acacia Cove recognised how difficult it was for couples to separate as one moved into full-time care and so facilitated the sale of land close by to Bupa NZ Ltd to build a facility that our residents had access to. This has proved to be very successful. However, only a really low percentage of people ever need to move into full-time care, because ideally the District Health Boards would prefer to find home-based support to keep people in their own homes.

Waikato District Council. Communications

Murray & Sh'ann from Tuakau

Tuakau now has 400 "Neighbourly" members with nearly 500 more in the North Waikato area. Wouldn't it be nice if our council communicated with us on Neighbourly, as well as Auckland City does? If you agree with me look up the WDC website and send them a message.

Bookabus are chauffeur driving 30 ladies between 3 of our stores - Ormiston Rd, Panmure and Pukekohe stopping enroute for lunch at Cafe Palazzo in Karaka which includes a glass of wine/coffee or tea. Your guide for the day Marilyn, our Panmure Restore Manager and interior designer, will give you some great tips on how to buy great quality goods for less, how to design a room and, along with Restore Pukekohe's very own Noreen, teach you about antiques. If you are currently redecorating a room bring your paint and fabric samples and let us show you how to take a room from drab to fab. Whether you are a seasoned pro or new to the world of op shopping this is a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn a skill that will save you money. The tour starts at 9am from our Ormiston store - 8 Ormiston Road, East Tamaki and returns at 4pm. We look forward to introducing you to our Aladdins caves that are Habitat Restore! For further information phone Debbie on 022 1239536. Spaces are limited so book TODAY.
