Have you noticed any private jets at the airport?
High-end, big spending tourists, along with the occasional celebrity or two, have been flocking to Taupō’s newly redeveloped airport, but they’re running out of places to park.
According to a Taupō Airport Authority (TAA) report, the number of private jets and charter flights into Taupō Airport are projected to double this year, but overall passenger numbers are down and have not returned to forecast pre-Covid levels.
What do you think? What have you noticed at the airport?
Poll: Have you ever been bullied?
People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
