Taupo's Great Lake Centre has retained its four star Qualmark rating, this time with an updated set of criteria that more closely scrutinises the operation.

Qualmark is New Zealand's tourism quality assurance organisation, which aims to makes it easy for travellers to select high quality places to stay, things to do, and ways to get around.

The four star rating means the Great Lake Centre can continue to carry the Qualmark symbol on its promotional material and indicates it is held in high regard within corporate conferencing circles.
