Babysitting
Hi there! My name is Ava and i'm a 17 year old living in Avalon who is currently looking for some babysitting opportunities! I live by a bus stop and a train station so it doesn't matter how far you live. I have four younger siblings so I know how to look after kids at all ages. One of my younger brothers has autism so I also know how to work with kids who have extra needs. I have done babysitting many times before with up to 11 kids at once and I was also a leader at my church camp many times which meant dealing with large groups of around 30 kids. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
