New Hospice Shop NOW OPEN!

Te Omanga Hospice

Our new Te Omanga Hospice Shop at 21 Queen Street, Upper Hutt, is now open! It has ample room to display the many treasures we gratefully receive from the community... and it's now easier to drop off your pre-loved furniture, homeware and clothing.

When you buy from or donate to our shop you are supporting people in our community living with a terminal or life limiting illness.

Thanks for your support and we look forward to welcoming you to our new shop soon.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
