On Friday I attended a concert at the Walter Nash Stadium (brilliant). Not my thing, but enjoyed by the majority. The compare's attire was impressive , as were the orchestra and the guest artists The mayor of Hutt City Council introduced the concert, but who would've known who he was. He was wearing a casual suit and no tie, really. One would've expected to recognise Him by way of his appearance. At the very least he should have worn a tie. Really MR MAYOR if you were at the Wellington town hall you probably would have been wearing a dress suit and your Mayoral chain of office . Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
