"Believe me, madam, I am just as surprised to see you, but don't have the same feelings of delight. You will forgive me if I now turn and run screaming into the bushes. Common pheasant/ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) - a very brief surprise encounter yesterday on the path beside the Waimanu Lagoon in Waikanae. Bird #72 in 2022."

This week a couple of pictures from Rosa Marie in Stokes Valley.
"Too wet and horrible to go a wondering this afternoon, but still managed to stalk the local birdlife from behind the washing line and get a few shots here and there as they feasted on the seed that I had thrown on the lawn. The cats however kept scaring them away."

Does anyone know a good plumber for a small job? I need an outside tap shifted and another one connected.
