Walking our dogs in summer on hot concrete & hot sand beaches
A reminder on behalf of our four-legged friends: footpaths and sandy beaches in the summertime, heat up way too much for us humans to roam bare-footed, so please spare a thought for your four-legged friends. FACT: If your feet fry on the beach/concrete so will your dogs paws. Please share this reminder with whananu, so that hopefully they'll consider the heat of concrete, ashphelt & beaches before exercising their dogs on these surfaces. FACT: Dogs-paws-aren't-made-for-concrete, nor are their limbs and joints. The heat created by the friction of a dog's paws connecting with concrete, when owners jog with their dogs is a double whammy in summer time. Please kindly share, where you think best, to raise awareness on behalf of all the doggies out there.
