Training for this event has already started, 7:30am Saturday mornings. Cycle, followed by run/walk, finally swimming. All welcome.

As at 8am today, our pool staff have advised that due to the strong winds in the Hutt Valley, all outdoor summer pools (McKenzie Baths, Eastbourne and Wainuiomata) will be closed until midday. They'll evaluate the conditions closer to midday and advise whether the pools will be opening for the day.
