2022 wild birds of NZ calendars and kererū prints

Louise from Woburn

Very exciting - the 2022 calendars and kererū prints are just back from the printers. I'll start getting them organised to ship out tomorrow. The printer said he used the same 270gsm fancy textured art card for the kererū prints that he uses for Weta Workshops art prints, so they are almost famous by association. There are only 20 and Caitlin will number and sign them.

Now for the exciting bit - the 10 winners, plucked from the calendar pre-orders, of the prints are Penny Williamson, Margaret Watt, Jana Sanders, Jim Norris, Tania Moir, Alice Christian, Margie Delaney, Sharon Major, Karen Ho, and Natasha Jelbert.

The remaining 10 prints are $50 each with the money going to help with the cost of Caitlin's study at VUW.

If anyone else that hasn't pre-ordered would like a calendar, I have 20 extra printed. First in first served, they are $28 each plus postage at cost or collect from Woburn, Lower Hutt. Email: louise@louisethomas.co.nz

Thank you so much to everyone for supporting my venture. I'll do it all again next year!

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Want the details? The Post has you covered.
