Important information for our community
Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Saturday we have closed all of our community facilities. This covers libraries, hubs, pools, clubhouses, museums, art gallery, community houses, community halls and the Ricoh Sports Centre.
Our main office at 30 Laings Road, Animal Services offices at Seaview and Wellington are open. Extra precautions are in place to safeguard you and our staff.
Please note the Silverstream landfill and Wainuiomata cleanfill are staying open.
We'll continue to update our website with the latest information on Council's response.
Kia ora Wellington, it's time to dust off that old camera, get out and about and show the rest of your neighbours your favourite, treasured spots in your region. It could be an awesome view, the shy wildlife or even the old buildings that are wanting their stories to be told.
Go ahead, get snapping and illustrate what's beyond your backyard.

Hi all, I am currently trying to raise funds for Bubbles, my 5 year old pitbull cross.
During lockdown she injured her leg and after the vet visit last Friday they said she will need surgery which will cost $4000+
Please click the link below if you would like to read more about her injury and if you would like to donate a small amount ❤️🐾
