Do you match any of these profiles, and are keen to be part of a news project?

The Team Reporter from Dominion Post

Hi Neighbours, we here at Stuff are working on a Humans of New York-styled project at the moment, featuring ordinary Kiwis representing a diverse cross-section of the population. We are hoping to find people who match the following profiles for an "as told to" story for Stuff - the idea would be to get you to talk about an interesting story from your life -- this could be anything on your mind, your hopes or fears, a significant relationship, an interesting work story, anything really. You would need to be happy to be photographed, and on a short video, as well as speak to a reporter for the story.

The three profiles we're looking for are:

Non-binary/LGBTQ person of european descent, living in North Island.

Young, able-bodied. Studying part-time, working part-time.

Possibly hospitality worker, low wage. (< 30k income)

Female of Pasifika, Middle Eastern, Latin American, African, or other descent, living in North Island.

30-64 years old, able bodied.

Low to medium income working clerical/admin jobs. (30-50k income)

Female of European descent, living in North Island.

Possibly retired (65+ years old), able bodied.

Median income (30-50k).

Do you fit the bill? Message us here on Neighbourly, or get in touch with Andre Chumko on

Favourite discoveries on NZ travels

Lorna Thornber Reporter from Stuff Travel

Hi everyone,
We'd be keen to hear about your discoveries on your recent travels around New Zealand. Were there any small towns, activities or attractions that surprised you, for better or for worse? Did you come across any lesser-know spots you think more Kiwis should check out? Which small towns do you think deserve more visitors than they get? Please remember your comment may be included in an article unless you state that you don't want it to be. Cheers.
