My Kind Neighbour nomination

Carrie from Stokes Valley

My neighbour Michael is just amazing. After 6 years I'm having to move on from my home where I am happy due to a pretty sad situation. The process of packing, moving and leaving it behind is quite fraught for me. My family have been unavailable, so I've been working away on my own at it getting it ready for sale. Then I had a wee accident and wound up with my arm in plaster! He has just been such a help-mowing my lawns, weeding, helping me move furniture-checking in to see how it's going, and reminding me to eat! Basically keeping me afloat physically and emotionally. He will probably never know how much it has meant to me to have his support. He is truly a great guy-and doing an awesome job of raising his 8 year old daughter to boot. If the world had more 'neighbours' like him-it would be a much better place.

Thanks
