As we are a charity, and to keep the cost down for participants, we are doing a 'mucking in' type of meal. Unfortunately the lady who volunteered to cook the mains part of the meal has pulled out due to a family crisis, so we are URGENTLY seeking for volunteers to cook, serve, clean up - even provide entertainment! Maybe even transport. Please contact 569-9096 or 0274343643 or email cffd-wgtn@actrix.co.nz if you would like to be involved. Thanks to those who have made contact already - much appreciated.

Emergency Mobile Alerts are not meant to replace other emergency alerts, or the need to take action after natural warnings.
You still need to be prepared for an emergency and you should not wait to get an alert before you act. If you feel your life is in danger, don’t wait for an official warning. Take immediate action.
