History shows in digital Paperspast that todays wharf was built c 1909 for the Gear Meat Company and linked to railway line across the beach front to Woburn Moera area.

Youth Volunteer Week 2024
We had a great day yesterday for the start of Youth Volunteer Week. We held a Monday Market of Volunteering at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. It was super nice to connect with enthusiastic students about mahi aroha!
