Grey Power Meeting
Grey Power's main goal is to advance, support and protect the welfare and well being of older people - aged 50 plus.
Locally we have interesting monthly meetings which the public is invited to attend. Our next meeting will be on Friday, 17 March at 10AM. This meeting will be held at the Senior Citizens Rooms which are on the left as you enter the Queensgate Countdown car park. The guest speakers will talk about Advance Care Planning which is a process of thinking about, talking about and planning future health care. This will be followed by time for questions and morning tea.
If you would like to attend our meeting, you will be most welcome.
For more information, please phone Kevin on 04 567 3794.

Poll: Have you ever been bullied?
People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.
