Walter Nash Park - being beautified for Springtime exercise

Hutt City Council

From there, to here - can you see the difference in the two images of the Freedom Fruit Gardens below?

These fruit trees are in the Walter Nash Park in Taita which is getting a major facelift. The park is behind the houses between Reynolds Road and Molesworth Street, down to Tocker Street in the south.

There are entrances in Reynolds Road, Molesworth Street and Tocker Street.Work began this week and includes two new footpaths around the 3.75 hectare park, improvements to the park entrances and removal of overgrown greenery and a disused toilet block.

By springtime you can put a spring in your step and enjoy the paths for jogging, walking, cycling or scooting.
