9pm update - Marine Drive currently closed
Due to strong southerly winds coinciding with high-tide just after 8pm this evening, the road from Marine Drive to Point Howard in the Eastern Bays has been closed due to debris on and over the road. Contractors are out clearing the road now, and hope to have it reopened later this evening. For further updates, please phone our contact centre on 04 570 6666.
