Oakleigh Street Tree Work
🌲 Tree work will commence at the Oakleigh Street entrance of Belmont Regional Park from 22 – 24 September. To facilitate this, we need to close the Oakleigh Street carpark during this time to keep everyone safe. Firewood may be collected after 4pm each day by the community.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
