Are you passionate about recycling and all things sustainable? Would you like to be more active but not sure how? The Upper Hutt Repair Café Trust needs all kinds of volunteers, including Board members. Do you have a financial background? Could you be their next Treasurer?
They are a small but passionate organisation working towards improving repair education and reducing goods going to the landfill. The Treasurer needs to have accounting/financial experience to provide oversight and governance, approve payments and ensure they maintain robust and efficient processes for managing the finances. Te Omanga Hospice’s Annual Street Appeal
Te Omanga Hospice’s Annual Street Appeal is taking place during Hospice Awareness Week on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May (Upper Hutt Brewtown Market only on Sunday).
You will see our official volunteer collectors out on the street (come rain or shine) across the Hutt Valley, wearing pink aprons and holding white donation buckets.
Please give generously when you see an official collector.
We need your support to keep our services free for all those who need us. Together we can make a difference to the over 600 patients and their families we care for each year.
