Winter Woolly Bird Count!

Celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day and International Yarn Bombing Day with local artist Wonky Stitches (aka Fluffy Robot), in association with Lower Hutt Knit World. Bringing you a day of bird counting... race around, map and camera in hand, to see how many woolly birds you can spot hidden on Lower Hutt Main Street.

Where: various locations around Central Hutt (City Centre)
When: 10am to 4pm, 9th June 2018

Come along to a workshop, for a koha donation to Forest & Bird, and learn how to make your own knitted or crocheted chicken. Bring your own needles or hooks (4mm), we supply the yarn, stuffing and instructions.
