Work has just begun on a Lowry Bay community water station: wellingtonwater.co.nz...

This work is part of the above ground emergency water network that we're building around the region, which will supply water to each community from day 8 following an earthquake.

The network consists of at least 22 water stations which are strategically located around the Wellington region. These will distribute water to bladders that are within walking distance of your house.

For the first 7 days following an earthquake you'll be relying on your own stored water.
You need 20L of stored water per person, per day, for at least 7 days.

For more information about the emergency water network, and how the community water station will operate from day 8 following an earthquake, check out the emergency water section on our website: wellingtonwater.co.nz...

Welcome to the Murder House, a deliciously dark comedy with bite sees a gang of death-row convicts set free from Auburn Prison for one wild night to tell the tragic tale of their hero, the man who invented the electric chair.

Based on a true story, the play speaks of a divided world where faith is more powerful than fact and shame drives a hard bargain. The fictional injection of real Indian scientist Chandra Bose, whose world-leading research into electricity was ahead of its time, gives an Indian Ink twist to the telling. Welcome to the Murder House features comedy, puppetry, live music, song and dance to entertain and delight whilst recounting a powerful, tragic and moving tale.

Jacob Rajan returns to the stage with a stellar cast, in Indian Ink’s biggest ever extravaganza. Experience a night of naughty fun that will leave you to decide who the real villains are.

The new sports centre will be home to Fraser Park Sportsville, a collaborative initiative in which sporting groups join together to develop new shared facilities with centralised management.  It aims to create a number of sports villages, or communities, making it easier for sports clubs to attract new members, offer new programmes and control operational costs by sharing resources.
