FOREST HARVESTING at Pakuratahi Forest
FOREST HARVESTING: a section of commercial plantation pine forest near to Mangaroa, Upper Hutt will be harvested over the next two years. Preparations will start Monday 3 December. From this date recreational access to this part of the forest from the Colletts Rroad entrance will be restricted, aside from limited access during a Christmas break 21 December – 6 January.
For your own health and safety please follow all signage on site. If an area cannot be accessed at certain times this is to protect you from harm around the harvesting operations.
