Rachel Walker & Rika Nagahata Exhibition Opening This Weekend
An exhibition featuring two amazing bird artists, Rachel Walker and Rika Nagahata opens this weekend at Petone's foreshore art and gift gallery. Due to Covid 19 social distancing, the opening is spread over the whole weekend instead of having an evening opening event. If you'd like to meet the artists, Rachel will be at the gallery between 1 and 4pm today, Saturday and Rika will be here to meet you Sunday afternoon. The images attached are by Rachel, first five, and Rika, next five. There will also be live music to enjoy this afternoon by jazz pianist Don Franks and guests. Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
