Former schoolmates gather at Boulcott School
Four old schoolmates got together recently to celebrate starting school together in 65 years ago.
Christine Tingey, Christine Deal, Jeanette Reeves and Janet-Ann Johnson (as they were all known then) are all about to turn 70 and thought that it would be a good idea to check out their old school.
They went for a walk and when they went past Knox Church in High Street, they realized that we were all married there many years ago, and that Rev. Bert Tweedie officiated at all their weddings.
Now thet are all hoping to come back when they turn 80.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
