Hey everyone, do you like Wine, Crackers, Cheese and want to learn to knit? Well I might just have the thing for you!
Knit a Stitch Workshops. Starting from Tuesday 14th of July.

Workshops are held in Lower Hutt. (Address given upon registration)
Your starting date is dependant on which block and time you wish to register for, and spaces available. You can choose from one of the times below and your workshop will be held at that time every week.
Workshops run in blocks of 4 weeks.

Tuesday Afternoon 1pm
Wednesday Afternoon 1pm
Wednesday Evening 7:30pm

Included in the price of the 1st workshop of each block is a starter kit, this includes everything you need for that block. Maximum of 5 people per workshop. Your start date will be confirmed upon registration.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
