The answer is yes, it is illegal. And yet in New Zealand it's fairly common to see drivers hitting the road with their fog lights on when it's simply dark.

ever tripped over on uneven footpath
have you ever tripped over on uneven footpath if so what did you do ? (besides swear) trip hazards on footpaths are rife in alicetown. Hutt Council doesn't seem to take these hazards seriously. Does hutt council have a safety officer that Liases with the public?
