Looking for owner of antique HMV record player
A year or so back a very nicely restored (outside) HMV mechanical record player was brought in for me to restore. Unfortunately I have lost touch with the owner. As it happens it needs someone with some special mechanical abilities to make some new parts for the spring motor system. If anyone knows someone who has "lost" one of these could they please get in touch with me. Otherwise I will have to sell it during my current downsizing. If it "rings a bell" please contact me and I can post some pictures.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
