7th – 21st of April
Many will know of our plans to expand and improve our facilities. While the Rodney Local Board are currently reviewing the project, we anticipate that expansion will enable us to more of our services, including exhibitions, classes, workshops and performances, in a better, more functional building. Kumeu Arts Centre will be able to increase its capacity and offer a more diverse range of options to our community.
However, we are currently a long way from having the money to make this dream become a reality. Therefore, we are running this Art Auction to help fundraise. By purchasing artworks from this auction people can help our cause while acquiring quality Art works by prominent and local artists such as; James F Ormsby, Gavin Chai, Amber Emm and Judy Stokes. Many of the artists who have generously donated works to this auction have been involved with Kumeu Arts Centre in some way, some for a long time, either through teaching, exhibiting or volunteering here.
You can come to Kumeu Arts Centre to view the works in our gallery now until April the 21st during which time visitors will also be able to place bids on the works displayed. Alternatively, you can view and bid on a selection of the artworks available on the 32 Auctions website link.

Before that process can begin, the Terms of Reference to define the scope and purpose of the Inquiry need to be set. Sir Anand would like to hear your views on the draft Terms of Reference so we can work together to make sure we don’t repeat the mistakes of the past.
