Northland civil defence is changing the way it tests its tsunami sirens, to acknowledge some people are still unsettled after the tsunami evacuation warning on March 5. Instead of the sirens going off for 10 minutes at 10am and then 30 seconds at 10.30am, the sirens will go off once only for just two minutes, at midday on Easter Sunday, April 4.
