Matakohe farmer Derek Robinson has been convicted and fined $1960 for two charges of mistreating animals, after using an electric prodder on distressed steers before team roping events at the Mid-Northern rodeo near Whangārei in 2016 and 2017. What do you think of the prosecution and his fine?
