Invercargill airport builds new viewing area
After receiving numerous complaints from family and friends of arriving and departing passengers Invercargill airport has now built a new viewing area . This is much closer for family and friends to wave goodbye , or welcome as the case may be . There is no intention to put an overhead cover at this stage as we feel anyone stupid ,,,umm ahh , brave enough to stand here will be brave enough for the southern elements. We are entertaining applications for vendors for hot dogs , hot pies , hot and cold drinks and flowers for this area similar too attached photo.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
