Great Community Clean Up is BACK!
Show your community a little love and WIN great prizes. For the third year running, The Warehouse and Neighbourly are challenging neighbours to get more involved in their neighbourhood by creating a Great Community Clean Up event.
All you have to do is grab your flatties, your neighbours or the family to clean up a local spot near you. Or be a real community champion and do it on your own. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Further appeal for information following Queens Park arson
Police are continuing to investigate following an arson in Queens Park, Windsor on Wednesday 3 December.
Police received a report at around 12:20am that four vehicles had been deliberately set alight.
As part of our investigations, we would like to hear from anyone who was on or around Queens Drive between 12am and 12:30am on Wednesday 3 December , or anyone with information that could assist.
