Yes this is me skiting while I can with my top 0.7% ranking in the Aussie / NZ Rugby league tipping competition. With another 3 games this week end that could go either way I thought it prudent that I show off now while I am ahead. I started watching League when TV first started in Invercargill mid 60's with the British game. Then when I was living in Sydney 74/75 my girlfriend dragged me off to a Souths pre season Friday night game and from there we went to watch my Easts team , was living in Coogee afterall , and her Souths every week end. I ended up playing the game in the Goldfields of Western Aust when I got back from Africa in 1980 until I headed off to Asia in late 82.

🎉 Exciting news for Southland! We’re getting a brand new museum – the Te Unua Museum of Southland!
⏳ The not-so-great news? It’s still a little way off. The Invercargill City Council has decided to wait until the museum is fully finished in late 2027 before opening, instead of opening parts early at extra cost.
We want to hear from you: Would it be worth investing more money to open the museum in stages, even if it costs more, or is waiting for the full experience the better option?
