A young Southland owl's favourite past time is watching television.
Grant and Lorraine Armstrong, of Lumsden, have been caring a young German owl found in a fertiliser bin at Dipton.
The owl, now named Chook, was on the floor of the bin and when Grant realised what it was he put it in his lunch box and brought it home.
