Give a Little - support for my sister
Hi neighbours, givealittle.co.nz...
This post is for my sister, Carole, who has recently been diagnosed with advanced (stage 4) cancer. It's a ghastly diagnosis for anyone to receive, but it seems especially cruel because Carole's been through some difficult & stressful years, especially recently. Her daughter, and only child, passed away last year, under tragic circumstances, leaving her 3 children in Carole's care. Carole has been, and still is, their rock. If you are able to help us support Carole... our sister, nanna, aunty, who is very special to us, we are truly grateful. There is no expectation from us that you give, but there is a deep and loving gratitude for your kindness if you do. Arohanui, Tania

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
