Wasps
It would be really good if householders in the Matai Street - Kauri Terrace - Pine Cresent area, could do a walk around their properties and check to see if they arent harbouring a wasp nest/s. There is a proliferation of them in this area at the moment and I have knocked a nest on the head with the Kiwi Care wasp eliminator which works well.
Wasps are a danger to kids, pets and harrass the hell out of the native birds to. So could you please just check and if you find one then get rid of it.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Further appeal for information following Queens Park arson
Police are continuing to investigate following an arson in Queens Park, Windsor on Wednesday 3 December.
Police received a report at around 12:20am that four vehicles had been deliberately set alight.
As part of our investigations, we would like to hear from anyone who was on or around Queens Drive between 12am and 12:30am on Wednesday 3 December , or anyone with information that could assist.
