A front is forecast to move onto the south of the South Island during this (Monday) evening and then drift back to the south during Tuesday morning. This front is expected to bring rain with heavy falls to Fiordland and a Watch is in force. Keep updated here

Bagging multiple awards, including Best Musical at both the Laurence Olivier Awards and the Tony Awards, CATS is considered among the all-time favourites of musical theatre fans.
This new production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece will visit 16 cities nationwide in April and May. As well as, being the first major theatrical performance at the $127.5 million refurbished Christchurch Town Hall it will also visit Auckland and Wellington and many of the larger regional theatres throughout New Zealand - details below.
Since its world premiere, CATS has been presented in over 30 countries and has been seen by over 73 million people worldwide. CATS is based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. The musical tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.

As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn't the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it's the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.

She has been unable to find a suitable premises to continue.
Last night I finally got to create some steel wool photos ,holding something so fiercely hot was an intense heat at 700 degrees c but worth it for creating some magic .

Invercargill Police are calling for information from the public after a number of vehicles had their windscreens smashed on Saturday night.

At about 10pm on Saturday 23 February, 2019 Police were called to Invercargill Workingmen’s Club on Esk Street where the windscreen of a motor vehicle had been smashed.
A male described as skinny build, aged about 16-18, wearing dark clothing with blue jeans was seen nearby. He ran off when approached by a member of the public.
Further enquiries located another six motor vehicles with smashed windscreens. Four on Ness Street between Tay Street and Forth Street and the remaining two on Esk Street between Doon Street and Jed Street. Unfortunately, the offender has not yet been located.
Anyone who may have witnessed this damage being committed or have information that can assist Police is asked to contact Constable Jacob Garrett on (03) 211 0400. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
