Curtains and time.

Robert Anderson from Curtain Clean - Whanganui

Curtains hang there for years and are often the most neglected furnishing in the house, absorbing household smells from cooking etc, until they are covered in dust and black mould, stains, dirt from handling and animals and so people think they need to replace them

The good news is that we can give most curtains a new lease of life with our cleaning process.

Curtain Clean specializes in cleaning all types of Curtains and Drapes, thermals, nets, Roman Blinds, Austrian Blinds, Roller Blinds, Duets, Verosol and Silhouette Blinds.
At Curtain Clean, we use a gentle hand washing process and natural drying. No solvents are used in the process either. Dry cleaning doesn’t remove the stains or the mildew.

After drying, curtains are checked for shrinkage, the hems are adjusted back to the original length (provided there is sufficient material to do so), and minor repairs are attended to before the curtains are returned to the customer. Curtain Clean is also able to make replacement linings and to do alterations to your curtains.

WITH WINTER ON ITS WAY NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO CLEAN THOSE CURTAINS AND REMOVE ALL THAT MOULD BEFORE YOU ARE SHUT IN WITH IT FOR THE WINTER.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
