cartel burgers in whanganui

Tayler from Whanganui

as my wife is of latin heritage, she is obviously upset with the name of this burger estabishment. they were advertising on the street a pablo escoba burger with cabeza de coco written beside it which roughly translates as coke head. how is this acceptable in new zealand? do we start naming our stores after nz gangs? would that be acceptable? the owners may think they are being cute, but they are just plain offensive. cartels in 2019 killed over 160,000 people. do we celebrate the nazi's or pol pot? this is not freedom of speech.

Your community trust has rebranded. TSB Community Trust is now Toi Foundation, supported by the strapline, a thriving, inclusive and equitable Taranaki.

Both the rebrand, and new strategy (released in 2020), are part of a bold vision to guide the organisation into the future as we look to not only continue support of Taranaki and its people in our traditional, philanthropic way, but invest in, facilitate, and co-create meaningful and effective opportunities that have long-term and intergenerational impact.

Water meters proposal

Christina Persico Reporter from Taranaki Daily News

Hi all,

I am writing a story on New Plymouth's proposal for water meters and I am looking for someone to talk to about their thoughts on water meters (and someone who is willing to be photographed for a story).

What are your thoughts on water meters? Send me an email: christina.persico@stuff.co.nz
