ROAD CLOSURES: SH 3 Mokoia and SH 3 Eltham
NZTA has advised of the following road closures:
Due to sewer main upgrade works, SH 3 Eltham, between Bridge Street and London Street is closed from Monday 19th and Wednesday 21st August between 7am-5pm. More info here.
Due to a crash, SH3 between Muggeridge Road and Whareroa Road is closed.
Detour route: No detour available. Avoid the area or delay your journey if possible.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
