Tight races for seats in Waikato Regional and Taupō District councils
Just three votes separate contenders for a council seat in Taupō - one of several close battles as vote counting continues.
The tightest margin is in Taupō’s Mangakino-Pouākani Ward, where Hope Woodward has moved three votes ahead of Marlene Johnson, a Monday morning council update said.
