Ramadan Community-wide meal, open to the public
EarthDiverse, the Waikato Arab Social Club, the Waikato Muslim Association and the Waikato Interfaith Council invite everyone to attend a community wide Iftar Dinner during the holy month of Ramadan on Saturday 8 April 2023, 5:30pm at the Claudelands Events Centre. This event is free and open to the public. Registration however is essential due to meal planning. Please register using the link below.
The Iftar meal is held each night during the holy month of Ramadan in order to break the daily fast at sunset. Come and join members of all faith communities and share this important spiritual event, have a meal together, and get a better understanding of Islam in a safe and shared environment.
