EarthDiverse: new ‘Festivals of the World’ workshop

todd from EarthDiverse

A two-day family workshop on an important Mexican festival “El Dia de los Muertos” is offered on Thursday and Friday the 27th & 28th of October 2022 from 5:30-8:30pm each evening.

Death is inherent in life. Celebrating El Día de los Muertos is an opportunity where Mexicans face this fact from a perspective of gratitude and honour for our loved ones who have already passed away. Combining cultural and religious elements, this special day passes between colors, smells, joy and nostalgia. This workshop will give us the opportunity not only to learn about this beautiful tradition but to be part of it by remembering our loved ones. This two-day, two-part workshop is offered as an in-person workshop only and has not Zoom component.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
