From Go to Wow! An evening of family history (Wednesday)
Something for all levels of experience.
An insight into researching your family history with Richard Cato and others from the NZ Society of Genealogists (Te Awamutu Branch).
No matter what your level, or where you are at with your research, there will be something for everyone, including starting out, best resources, DNA as a research tool, writing up your research to create a story and publishing (whether that is a family story or as a family reference)
The evening will be supported with a week long display in the library from 1-7 August.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
