Council to spend 22k
Hamilton City Council is to increase our rates by 8.9%, against the wishes of ratepayers, but the City Council CEO who is leaving the Council soon is to spend $22k on motivational two speakers, Montana food and Claudelands venue on 29th for all Council staff. Mayor elected by ratepayers votes had said she learnt of the meeting only on 21st. Unfortunately, Mayor and Councillors elected by ratepayers votes are not invited. It looks like our elected representatives have no say and do not know what is going on in Council.
