Cambridge Scottish Dancing Beginners' Classes

Lesley from Leamington

Beginners' classes for Scottish Country Dancing start on the 3rd March 2021 from 7pm to 8pm and the course is for 8 weeks. Of course, we would love you to attend our regular dancing nights when the course has finished. Scottish Country Dancing is a great way to get fit, without having to pound the pavements, meet new friends and have a lot of fun at the same time. It is suitable for ages 9 to 99 and you don't need a partner. Cambridge club nights are on Wednesdays and are held at the St Andrew's Church Hall, in Cambridge. Come along and have a go. You might be surprised. For further details, contact Carol 027284 7670 or email CambridgeSCD@yahoo.co.nz

‘Huge potential’ for Te Rapa Racecourse site if sale goes ahead

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

On Tuesday, the Waikato Times revealed Waikato Thoroughbred Racing’s (WTR) plans to buy 150ha of farmland south of Hamilton to house the region’s three racing clubs at a new purpose-built racecourse and event centre.
