We have received what we think is a dog registration tag in the mail twice.

We have written not at this address and popped it in the post box to be returned to the council but it has been delivered to us again.

Ours is the address written on it but we do not have a dog and would hate for someone to get in trouble because their council registration keeps being sent to the wrong place - any idea what we should do now? Really want to get this to the right home asap

The opposing team used disgusting tactics of shoulder barging, fist fighting and head butting. The game was stopped seconds from the end of the third quarter, a meeting on the court of all players and coaches and one of the offenders sent to the side-line…………………..but he was on the court again in the final quarter. The Ref refused to be part of the game in the fourth quarter due to being sworn at , lack of respect and questioning by the opposing team as to decisions made and the general unsportsmanlike behaviour. One of the side line spectators refereed the last quarter. The boys in the opposing team were big solid guys who used this advantage in an extremely questionable way. What does this unchallenged despicable behaviour display to younger ones coming on? Its acceptable to be a bully and a thug with no consequences? Why is this behaviour allowed/tolerated and not stamped out, by the coach? The offences were red cardable and very disturbing to watch. In my opinion the team should be stood down for a couple of games and the coach held accountable.

This month we’re celebrating the diverse array of people who call New Zealand home. Regardless of our different faiths, abilities, cultures, nationalities, ages, orientations and even genders - we want to make sure that our communities are safe and welcoming for all.

There’s many ways to take part! From hosting a multicultural potluck where each attendee brings a dish from a country of their choice to coordinating a fundraiser that benefits refugees or our elderly there are thousands of ways big and small to make our households, neighbourhoods, schools and businesses even more inclusive. It could even be as simple as learning from a neighbour how to say ‘hello’ in their native language or ensuring local footpaths are accessible!

Don’t forget this month also coincides with Women’s Refugee Awareness Month and International Day of Friendship on July 30th - a United Nations day that promotes the role that friendship plays in promoting peace in many cultures.

Want to share your thoughts? Let us know how you’re making your community more inclusive this month by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:
