City council starts plans for "Greater Hamilton"
Hamilton City Council wants "a greater say over what happens beyond our current territorial boundaries" as it plans for growth.
It is coining the term Greater Hamilton for an area which also covers the Waikato and Waipā Districts.
And, on Thursday, councillors will vote on the Greater Hamilton Growth Strategy.
